Candle design for Commune
Based in Somerset, Commune is a sustainable self-care brand rooted in natural ingredients and ancient herb-lore. As the brand expanded into home fragrance, I was brought on to design its first candle collection.

“From the Latin for ‘Light” and “Darkness”, each of Commune’s candle fragrances is available in two scent profiles: Lux, a radiant welcome to the day that’s uplifting and energising, and Nox, an enveloping evening respite evoking quiet contemplation, rest, and renewal.”
The collection needed to feel distinct while remaining rooted in Commune’s visual identity. Its signature eclipse shape was remade into a seamless pattern, creating a consistent visual language across the collection.
