I wished to learn and experiment with letterpress in my final year, but I didn’t have a specific project to use it for. I aimed to create something in which the process is the goal rather than the outcome.

My outcome is a calendar for which I used a different experimental technique to print each month.While spending the majority of my final year at the letterpress workshop I learnt typesetting, kerning, leading and setting up grids and layouts manually, allowing me to appreciate design processes more and to have a better eye for details.
Here I would like to thank the technicians Ruth, Andrew and Will for the endless help during my final year from start to finish! “it was a team work”.
